VISA REQUIRED FOR U.S. CITIZENS

VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR TOURIST TRAVEL

1. Valid Passport

The applicant’s passport, valid for a minimum of 6 months, with at least one blank visa page available along with its photocopy

2. Passport Photo

Two passport size 2×2 color photos with a white background.

3. Visa Application Form

Duly filled-in the Visa Application Form in all respects. Click here for the tourist visa application form. For the Business Visa application form, click here. The application form must be notarized.

4. A letter of invitation

A letter of invitation from a Pakistani citizen on Stamp Paper duly notarized or attested by a Gazetted Government Officer along with an attested copy of his/her CNIC/NICOP. Also a copy of his/her id.

5. Proof of profession

Proof of profession (job/studies, etc.) of both applicant and person inviting the applicant.

6. Bank Statement

Bank Statement of the applicant (in case the applicant is dependent on parents, a letter from the father/mother to meet expenses on the visit)

7. Consular Fees

Tourist Visa for American Citizens – $192.00

If paid by debit card, $198.00

Business Visa – $324.00

Money Order or Cashier’s check of US$ 192.00 for United States citizens payable to the “Consulate General of Pakistan New York”. Cash / personal check is not acceptable.

Notes:

Granting of Visa is the sole prerogative of the Mission.

(Fee is nonrefundable. The fee should be in the form of money order or cashier’s check payable to “CONSULATE GENERAL OF PAKISTAN”. NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED.)
